Ladakh

Ladakh, often referred to as ‘The Land of High Passes’ is tucked away in the Himalayas in the far northern reaches of India.

It’s a land of lunar-like landscapes, rugged mountains, impossibly clear lakes and wild plains. From the iconic Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake, Ladakh's many natural wonders invite visitors to escape the real world and truly switch off in this remote corner of India. This region is other worldly.

But Ladakh is far more than wild landscapes and dramatic views. It’s equally rich in culture and spirituality, with the largely Tibetan Buddhist population bringing a cultural colour that’s unlike other parts of the country. Ancient monasteries like Hemis, Thiksey and Lamayuru offer a glimpse into the region's Buddhist heritage while vibrant festivals offer a privileged welcome, with locals celebrating with music, dance, and traditional rituals.
