The Old Harbour hotel is a 300-year-old boutique hotel on the Fort Kochi peninsula and one of our favourites in the area.
Lovingly restored with homage to its Dutch and Portuguese colonial history, this charming and historic hotel flawlessly integrates modern amenities and remains stylish. Its 13 rooms offer gorgeous views of either the courtyard or out towards the ancient Chinese fishing nets.
An outdoor pool and a relaxing spa are perfect places to unwind following a day exploring the local area. You’ll be spoiled with freshly and locally caught seafood on the menu every evening, as the restaurant fills with the dulcet sounds of traditional sitar players.
There are no blackout curtains in the bedrooms, so we’d advise you to pack a comfortable eye mask
It’s a 90-minute drive from the airport, but worth it to get away from the bustling metropolis and into the historic heart of Fort Cochin
Most rooms are sparsely decorated but they are comfortable and stylish
Families are welcome, but amenities are not designed with families in mind.
Located by Jawahar Park on the peninsula of Fort Kochi, an old colonial port city.
What our travellers say
We went to Sri Lanka as a three-generation family of three. The superb trip was organised by Samanthie and the team and it's difficult to see how it could have been bettered.
